The 2023 Sequoia girls soccer team are Division I CCS Champions! This is the first CCS championship win in the girls soccer program’s history and Sequoia was lucky enough to host the final game at Terremere Field.
The girls had a fantastic season with finishing 2nd in the PAL Bay division before going on to win CCS championship games against Westmont, Los Gatos, and Aragon. Sequoia entered the CIF NorCal Division 3 bracket as the number one seed and won their first game vs Piedmont before falling to Cardinal Newman in the semi-finals. Junior Addison Haws was named PAL Bay Midfielder of the Year and team MVP for Sequoia.
Shout out to graduating senior players Isabelle Burns, Natalie Donnelly, Evelyn Harrington, Sarah King, and Jenna Cullanine and a huge congrats the team and their coaches for a fantastic season! We can’t wait to see the team and their many returning starters on the field next year.
